BIOSCIENCE ACADEMY

August 2015 - June 2018

Studied advanced medical terminology and diseases as well as gained skills used as a first responder and in a biotechnology setting.  Shadowed professionals within the STEM field to gain insight into the daily tasks and procedures performed in particular professions.

DISEASE PROJECT

January 2017 - June 2017

Thoroughly researched the characteristics of Bacillus Anthracis and its potential to be used as a method for bioterrorism, presenting our findings to public health professionals within our community.

BARCODE OF LIFE PROJECT

Participated in an international project whose objective is to create a database of the various species throughout the world for quick access in research.
